Setting the stage for Naga-based 2D/3D animators and investors looking for bright prospects in cutting-edge animation technology, Nag-aAnim8 2008 is scheduled May 9 and 10 at the city’s strategic venues.

Partnering with the Canadian International Development Agency-Pearl2, Animation Council of the Philippines, Inc., Ateneo de Naga University and Avenue Square, the City Government of Naga through the Naga City Investment Board (NCIB) envisions the animation festival to bring to fore the Naga City advantage in the booming animation industry. “The focus of this year’s event is mainly on the vast potentials of the city’s human resource in the field of animation and how we can strengthen small and medium enterprises engaged in animation works,” quips Reuel Oliver, NCIB Executive Director.
